The Kudos Emerging Awards is an annual celebration of artists and writers from UNSW Art and Design. These awards recognise the essential role that emerging artists and writers play in cultivating creative legacies that nurture our communities. This website features the work of the 19 finalists in this digital exhibition.
One finalist from each category will be awarded $1,500 as well as $500 for the People’s Choice Finalists. These prizes will be awarded by a panel of esteemed judges.
Kudos is proud to support emerging artists and writers from such a talented community. We invite you to engage with the work of these artists, follow their practices and support them into the future.
Please join us for the Kudos Emerging Awards Opening and Awards evening on the 31st of October from 6pm at Joynton Avenue Creative Centre on Gadigal and Bidjigal Country. The exhibition will be available for viewing in person until the 4th of November.
