Double Happiness(囍): a Chinese character comprised of two single happiness’ (喜) aligned side by side symbolises the joining of two individuals. It is commonly used in wedding paraphernalia as a blessing for a couple’s happily ever after. In Double Happiness (囍) 7 Chinese artists will mediate on fleeting binds, engrained traditions and reflect on ‘囍’ beyond its ties to happiness and marital blessings.
